UCR Research and Economic Development (RED) and the Office of Technology Partnerships (OTP) are seeking applicants interested in being awarded the OASIS Entrepreneurial Postdoctoral Fellowship for 2023. The fellowship is a 15-month award open to a postdoctoral researcher who is interested in pursuing research translation and the development of solutions that address the Inland Southern California’s most pressing needs around climate change and climate resilience.

The RPA, in association with GradSuccess and the UCR's Health Promotion Department (The Well) , invites the postdoctoral community (postdoctoral/visiting scholars and project scientists) to the Spring 2023 Stress Relief Fair on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the Physics Courtyard.

The RPA and the Institute for Integrative Genome Biology (IIGB) invite the postdoc community (i.e., postdoctoral/visiting scholars and project scientists) and graduate students to attend and submit an abstract for the 2023 Early Career Scientist Symposium, scheduled to take place on Friday, June 9th, 2023, at the Genomics Building on the UCR Campus in Riverside, CA. The Evaluation Committee will select the eight most relevant postdoc abstracts for oral presentations (15-min talk + 5-min Q&A). The poster session is open to all graduate students, postdoctoral/visiting scholars, and project scientists.

Postdoc oral presentations will provide financial support for research in the amount of $500 for the best presentation, and $300 for the second- and $200 for the third-place winners. These awards will be transferred to the winner’s department for research-related expenses, including conference travel. In addition, three $75 gift cards will be given as awards for the best poster presentations.

The Research Ethics Education program and the Office of Research and Economic Development invite the postdoctoral community to the 2022-2023 Research Integrity Series, where recent NIH and upcoming NSF changes to requirements for education in the responsible conduct of research will be discussed.
